Bridgeport Elementary held their annual Open House on September 27th. Open House is always a great opportunity to increase the home school connection. When students see their parents and teachers interacting, they know that there is a partnership and team effort to make them successful. At the Open House families met with teachers, saw student work, and signed up for school events with the PTA. This year the Madison County Sheriffs Department was at the school promoting their Operation Safe Child program. They took pictures and fingerprints of students. They gave out safety information and Halloween bags. All the families and staff enjoyed the evening and time to interact with each other.
